Once one has done a few digital scrapbooking projects or photo editing projects in Photoshop (or Elements) then having some shortcuts to make the project easier and faster is very helpful!
Today the quick tip is how to move text while still staying in the Text Tool!
For the digital scrapbooker, adding text to our digital scrapbooking project is just part of the process of digital scrapbooking!
However, as we first learn about digital scrapbooking techniques we use our Text Tool to create text in Photoshop (or use can use Elements).
Then we switch to the Move Tool to move the text into place.
This process is just fine when we start scrapbooking, and keeps the process easy, but after one has digitally scrapped for a while then a quick tip makes the processes even faster!
Here is the Quick Tip for using the Text Tool to Move the Text:
First, type out the text with the Text Tool, but instead of switching to the Move Tool to move it into place.
Just move the text cursor away from the text and it will change to the move tool icon.
Now simply click and drag to reposition the text. This is all done while staying right in the Text Tool!
Ps. this Quick Tip works in Photoshop Elements too!
