Quick Tip: Useful Photoshop Shortcuts

Using shortcut keys in Photoshop to speed up workflow Do you love using Photoshop for digital scrapbooking or to edit photos?

Would you like to do things a bit quicker? If so, then check out a few of these handy shortcuts in Photoshop to speed up your workflow!

A Few Handy Photoshop Shortcuts:

Ctrl+Z – Undo last step
Ctrl + A Select All
Ctrl+D – Deselect
Shift + Ctrl+I – Inverse selection
Alt+Del – fill in selection with Foreground color
Ctrl+Del – fill in selection with Background color
Ctrl+J – make new layer with selection
Ctrl+Alt +N – create new document
Ctrl+Shift+E – merge visible layers
Ctrl+B – Color Balance
Ctrl+L – Levels
Ctrl+M – Curves
Ctrl+U – Hue/saturation

(Mac users – in general when you see  Alt then  substitute it for the Option Key, and for Ctrl then substitute it for the Cmd Key.)
