With summer comes great BBQs, cookouts, and picnics – all with great summer foods. This year save the recipes and email them to all your family and friends!
Here is how to do it!
Step 1: Get the recipes. pick the recipes from your summer picnics, BBQs or backyard cookouts and get them ready to transfer to digital scrapbooking pages.
Step 2: Get Digital Scrapbooking Supplies. I like using the Summer Cookout Album Quick Page Kit (8.5×11”), because it has pre-designed scrapbooking pages with recipe and 
notes right in the design. And, because the set is a Quick Page Kit all the work is basically done - all I have to do is add my photos, recipes and a few included WordArt phrases and I am done with the scrapbooking part!
REALLY, it is that easy!
This kit is also good as it comes in standard US paper size which makes printing and putting in a binder easier!
Step 3: Scrap my digital scrapbooking recipe pages. It is easy to make digital scrapbooking pages using Photoshop. I just bring my digital photos, the Quick Page, WordArt into Photoshop, and type a few words to personalize, add my recipe, and I am ready to make the next recipe page!
If you like you can use Photoshop Elements to do the same thing!

After I have made my digital scrapbooking recipe pages in either Photoshop or Photoshop Elements, I can save them and turn them into a digital PDF album! This will make it so easy to email to family and friends!
Step 4: Turn my scrap pages into a Digital Scrapbooking Recipe Book in PDF format and email to family and friends. It will save me money on printing, shipping boxes, and postage when I turn my digital scrapbooking recipe book into a PDF album and email it to friends and family.
Here are some of the pages in my Recipe Scrap Book (PDF format).
Note: I have my view turned on to 2-page viewing – but you could set it to see only one page at a time, or two pages at time. Also you can have many more pages in your digital recipe book – which is great so you can include all the fun summer recipes and photos too!
These pages were easy and fast to make and now I plan to send this Summer Cookout Recipe Book to my family and friends! I think everyone will enjoy it! And who knows maybe they will even try some of the recipes!
