I was surprised to learn the other day that Photoshop has a spelling checker!
I guess because I knew that Photoshop Elements doesn’t have a spelling checker I just assumed Photoshop didn’t either!
Wrong!
Photoshop does have a spelling checker.
This can be a big help when you are digital scrapbooking! A misspelled word is so easy to slip into a project and then when you spend the money to have your scrapbooking page printed out then the last thing you want is a word or words spelled wrong!
Here is how you get to the spelling checker in Photoshop.
First go to the top menu – Edit > Spelling Checker
Next it will open a pop-up box that will show the spelling choices’ and it will highlight the word on the scrapbooking page. Select the correct spelling and press the Change Button.
Now the misspelled word is corrected. Wow that was easy – wish I would have known about this earlier! Also, I wish Photoshop Elements had a spelling checker too!
Take a moment and try this tip and see if it makes your workflow easier! It sure helped me!
Enjoy!
Ps. see tomorrow’s blog for some ideas to work-around spelling checking for Elements users that don’t have a checker in that program!
