I love St Patrick’s Day! You don’t even need to be Irish to have some fun! I usually send cards to all my friends and family. I think it is just nice to let them know I am thinking about them even if they don’t really celebrate St Patrick’s day.
This year I was looking over St Patrick’s Day recipes and thinking maybe I can combine recipes and greetings for my family all into one!
In other words, I think this year I will save some postage and email a St Patrick’s Greeting and Recipe Book!
Here is how I am going to do it!
Step 1: Get the recipes I want to use in the “Greeting Card/Recipe Book”. If you have photos even better!

Step 2: Get Digital Scrapbooking Supplies. I like using The Lucky Green Quick Page Album Kit 1 (8.5×11″) because it has pre-designed 
scrapbooking pages with recipe and notes right in the design. And, because the set is a Quick Page Kit all the work is basically done - all I have to do is add my photos, recipes and a few included WordArt phrases and I am done with the scrapbooking part!
REALLY, it is that easy!
This kit is also good as it comes in standard US paper size which makes printing and putting in a binder easier!
Step 3: Scrap my digital scrapbooking recipe pages. It is easy to make get digital scrapbooking pages using Photoshop. I just bring my digital photos, the Quick Page, WordArt and type a few words to personalize and I am ready to make the next recipe page!

After I have made my digital scrapbooking recipe pages in either Photoshop or Photoshop Elements I can save them and turn them into a digital PDF album!
Step 4: Turn my scrap pages into a Digital Scrapbooking Recipe Book in PDF format and email to family and friends. It will save me money on printing, shipping boxes, and postage when I turn my digital scrapbooking recipe book into a PDF album and email it to friends and family.

Note: I have my view turned on to 2-page viewing – but you could set it to see only one page at a time.

These pages where easy and fast to make and now I plan to send this to my family and friends this St Patrick’s Day instead of a greeting card! I think they will enjoy it! And who knows maybe they will even try some of the recipes!
