Have you been enjoying the Winter Olympics? Watching some of the highlights of the games on your TV?
Would you like to get some resources to scrap some of your Olympic Memories?
You might be saying – that would be fine if I was going to the Olympics – certainly I would want to scrap the experience. But perhaps like me you will be watching the Winter Olympics at home on TV — so would I really scrap that?!
The answer is Yes! Really you might want to! Why… you ask? First, it is fun to follow along with the sports events and scrap them, giving you a creative active participation in the event! Also, because scrapping preserves memories and history. Many historians want to look at regular peoples journals, scrapbooks, and writings to see how ordinary people felt and thought about events in history. If you capture your thoughts and ideas in a digital scrapbook your memories can linger on beyond your life time Your scrapbooks capture historical perceptions of event through the eyes of “real people”. Also your family and friends can enjoy your scrap pages, as well as your children and grand-children too!
So here are some resources to help you get started and help you scrap your Winter Olympics Memories!
Scrapbooking with the Vancouver Olympic Logo- It is nice to include the logo on your scrapbooking projects, especially as the logos change each time and it if fun to see them on your scrapbooking pages.
