Every Martin Luther King Holiday gives us the opportunity to teach our children about the values of nonviolence, including tolerance, forgiveness and courage to stand for a cause that betters the world. I like what Coretta Scott King said, “The Holiday provides a unique opportunity to teach young people to fight evil, not people, to get in the habit of asking themselves, what is the most loving way I can resolve this conflict?”
Take some time to teach your children and reflect yourself on the values we can learn from the “Dream” of equality and love towards all people!
