It is up to us as parents to make wonderful memories for our children. It doesn’t have to be hard or elaborate.
We just need to take a small bit of our time and create something special for our children.
Like making hot chocolate and drinking it outside under a snowy tree!
Taking an early morning walk in the snow and making the first foot prints in the snow!
Playing the game Candy Land by the warmth of the fireplace on extra cold nights when you are snowed in!
I remember as a child that we had some a simple but memorable winter activity. When it got cold outside our father would pop a big bowl of buttery popcorn and we would watch movies together as a family.
It is a very happy memory, but sadly we never got any photos of it. So when you are doing simple memory making activities remember to grab the camera and take a few photos to scrap later on.
It doesn’t have to be expensive or hard to create great family memories. So start a few today!
