There are a lot of funny, cute, and pretty Christmas/Winter Holiday cards being sold this 
December, but to be honest with you, I think to myself… Why?
A “Happy Birthday” card… Ok, that makes sense. A “Happy Anniversary,” or “Happy Valentines Day” card… Sure, that’s always nice. Even an “I am Sorry, I Messed Up” card… Definitely.
But a generic Christmas or Winter Holiday card bought at the Grocery Store… Why?
I always feel honored to receive a store-bought Christmas card, but I have to admit, I would much rather receive a personalized Christmas/Holiday card. I have many friends and relatives that live all across the country, and as sad as it makes me, I am lucky if I am able to see some of them even just once a year!
My best friend for example, she lives in San Diego with her two baby boys. I see her once or twice a year max, and it absolutely breaks my heart. Not only because I miss my good friend, but because she has two little guys that won’t be babies forever. Every time I see them, they have grown several inches and have changed so much! And the same thing with my cousins; one year they’re little kids, the next year they’re full-fledged adults! Time really does fly, and things really do change so much… even just in a year!
