Many people that use Photoshop Elements for digital scrapbooking don’t know about the built-in arrow tool, probably because the tool is not actually called the Arrow tool.

Here are the steps to draw one in Photoshop Elements:

Step 1: Select the Line tool.

Select line toolStep 2: Go to the top of workspace to the Option Bar, and click on the black triangle (see red arrow) and a small arrowhead menu will appear.

Step 4: To start out with keep the default width at 500% and the length at 1000% these settings are in regards to the percentage of the thickness of the line. After you have made your first arrow you might want to go back and see what other settings do to your arrow.

Also, keep the concavity option at 0% for you first test arrow. Then on your second try you might want to adjust this setting from the Concavity option. It goes from -50% to 50% as this sets the curvature of the widest part of the arrowhead.

Step 5: Type in weight of the line, try 20 px to start off with.
