Whether you were asked to bring a side dish for your friend’s Thanksgiving dinner or you’re looking for new Thanksgiving recipes to serve at your own holiday meal, these make-ahead side dishes are not only enjoyable to eat, but even more a big help because you can make them ahead!
I like that I am able to prepare part of the ingredients or even the whole dish in advance of the holiday meal. Preparing part of the meal ahead of time allows me to feel more in control and allows more time to take photos for my scrapbooking projects too! Take a look at these make-ahead recipes because they give information right in the directions & tips of what to do ahead and how much ahead you can do them – like some can be made a week before Thanksgiving – wow!

Making items ahead of Meal makes time for getting good digital photos for Digital Scrapbooking Projects!
Making dishes ahead is good for digital scrapbooking too! If you have more time to prepare and are not so rushed or trying to cook and entertain at the same time then, you can feel more relaxed. When you have time and feel relaxed you are more likely to spend some time getting some great digital scrapbooking photos.
I like to mix photos of the preparations, or the food along with the recipes and photos of family and friends at the holiday event!
So this year take some of the stress off and make some Thanksgiving dishes ahead of time and also take photos of you and your family making the holiday dishes, take photos of the the actual food as well. Then when you scrap your holiday event, add some preparations, food and recipes into your scrapbooking pages!
Have a very happy Thanksgiving!
