Question: Dear Ms. Digi Know, When I go to close out documents in Photoshop Elements a pop up greets me that ask me “ Save changes to Adobe Photoshop Elements _my-document___ document before closing?” I don’t always use my mouse and wish I could use a shortcut key instead of clicking so much!
Sincerely, Clicking too much!
Answer: Hi Clicking, Save your mouse and use shortcut keys instead! You can absolutely use shortcut keys to save time while saving or closing a document. If are using a PC with Windows with Photoshop Elements then press the Y key or Enter Key for Yes, and if you want No then press the N Key, and Esc Key for Cancel!
Now if you are using a MAC version of Elements then use these shortcut Keys: press the letter D key for Don’t Save, press the S key or Enter key for Save, and C key or Escape Key to Cancel.
Does this tip work for Photoshop Users too?
Good news these same Shortcuts work for Photoshop users too! Just use the shortcut keys for the PC or Mac versions, and you are good to go!
Remember Keyboard shortcut-fans, when you take a little time to learn a shortcut you can save lots of time over the long term.
