Digitally Scrapping Fall Activities!
Early this morning I went outside and found myself really enjoying the feeling of Fall that was in the air. The air was crisp and the grass was covered with dew. What a beautiful morning. Fall is my favorite time of year and so I want to capture every moment in my mind so that when the cold, white snow falls, I can remember that it will only last a short time and a new season will come to refresh, brighten , and renew me once again. Living in an area where there are four very distinct seasons is fabulous and I have to admit, one of my favorite things about living in the area I do.
Each season is enjoyable for very different reasons. As I said, my favorite is Fall. That is why I am crazy about Digital Scrapbooks Fall Scrapping Kits.
The colors in the Fall Kits are perfect for scrapping those darling pictures that I take of my kids playing in the leaves. For example I could use the Old Fall with Antique Autumn Colors Scrap Kit to scrap lots of my fall activities, like the kids raking leaves, playing in the leafs, sharing hot cocoa on a cold morning!
This kit I like because of the rich colors of the papers, it comes with 5 different frames, digital tags, WordArt and even a bow!

Another thing that I like about Fall is the Garden Harvest Time! It is a time to enjoy all your hard work from the summer such as the planting, weeding, and more weeding. But now it is Fall it is the time to reaping the benefits of a garden! As a family, we spend quite a bit of time taking care of the garden together and while we tend the garden I take tons of pictures of my family doing these activities and so I can scrap them in the Fall and Winter months.
My kids think that I am nuts taking all these photos of them gardening through
the Fall harvest (can any of you relate?), but I figure that one day the kids will look back on these days in the garden with delight as they admire themselves as children working together in pictures that have been beautifully scrapped.
After last years harvest I had lots of fun with the photos and digital scrapbooking using the Fall Digital Scrapbooking Kit to make garden digital scrapbooking memories.
For example, after digital scrapbooking the garden adventure with photos I took all summer long of the kids in the garden, weeding, watering, and then harvesting the garden goodies, we made a digital scrapbooking page and had it turned into great gifts, like a mouse pad, a puzzle, and a greeting card all from one digital scrapbooking page I made with our garden photos!
Fall is such a perfect time to take all of the summer photos and digitally scrap them and make them into holiday gifts for family and friends!

This kit it is great because the papers work with garden colors, and can be used for other fall scrapbooking projects as well!
I like it when I can get a kit and I can use the papers or supplies in other projects too!
Another thing I really like about Fall and Digital Scrapbooking is October and 
the Halloween activities. I think that taking pictures of the kids carving pumpkins, eating dinner out of a pumpkin, making our traditional Halloween donuts etc. is about as fun as any of the pictures I take all year long!
So after I get the greatest Halloween photo, then I can use my fall digital scrapping papers and embellishments that I might have bought for other Fall scrap projects to make great Halloween Digital Scrapbooking pages and projects as well! Again, I love digi kits that can be reused in different ways and with different themes! Since my kits are digital and not traditional (like real paper products) I can reuse them over and over for different Fall themes, saving a ton of money too! It is nice to know that these kits are on my computer just waiting for me and when I’m ready to put these pictures into a Fall or Halloween digital scrapbooking album I am ready to go. Even if that means digitally scrapbooking on the run — it is surprising how much you can do when you are waiting around to pick up kids from school! After I read this article and tried it I was surprised how much I could do in those 10 minutes of time that usually were wasted!
So don’t procrastinate until that snow falls, get into the fall picture taking mode and catch some great memories on film or digitally! It’s easy to put them into beautifully scrapped albums that you and your children will cherish for a lifetime.
