I was just visiting my sister and she showed my a nice digital scrapbooking page that she scrapped of her son’s wrestling tournament. It was a collage of photos of the beginning of the event, wrestling with different opponents, then the moment they announced that my nephew was the champ. The got shots of when he got the trophy and also hugging his family afterward!
It was such a lovely digital scrapbooking collage that had digital frames around each photo in the school colors! She had the digital scrapbooking photo collage framed and it hung in his bedroom. It was so fun and what a great way to remember the event.
I was so happy that the photos showed the whole process and not just the trophy at the end! I almost felt like I had experienced the whole process too! Taking a full range of images that span from the beginning to the end really let those of us that lived far away feel like we where part of the process. Also, I bet for those that got to see the events will be happy for the complete recorded memory too!
It is the season when all the school sports are starting so, take a digital camera along whenever you go to an event. Capture the process, the practices, the uniforms, the games, the snacks, the team events and trophies.
Then remember to make those memories last forever by turning them into a digital scrapbooking page. Print it, frame it, hang it up, send it to family and friends too so they can share the special events too!
