Question: Dear Ms. Digi Know, I have been interested in trying out Custom Brushes, but when I bought them, I realized it mentioned that they were for Photoshop.  That’s not so good, because I actually have Photoshop Elements! Am I out of luck, or can I still use the Custom Brushes in Elements?

Answer: Hi Unlucky Brush Girl, Your luck has officially changed! You can absolutely use Photoshop Brushes within Photoshop Elements! Essentially, Custom Brushes can be used in either program, Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. So, lucky lady, start enjoying whatever brushes you have now and feel free to keep spending your brush dollars away, my dear!

Remember brush-fans, as easy as Custom Brushes are, they can be a little tricky to install without quality training. Using Custom Brushes as Digital “Stamps”

Question: Dear Ms. Digi Know, I heard that Custom Brushes can be used like a scrapbooking rubber stamp? Is this true?

Answer: Howdy Stamping, It sounds like you are traditional scrapbooker that wants to do some of the same things-digitally? Yes? Then, stamp on this: You can use a Custom Brush in Photoshop or Photoshop Elements just like a traditional scrapper would use a rubber stamp to “stamp” an image onto a scrapbooking page!

Buy Custom Brushes Using Custom Brushes as so-called-stamps is just one of the many exciting things to do when digital scrapbooking within Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. Custom Brushes can pretty much be used as a digital version of a rubber stamp, and can be “stamped” on Digital Scrapbook Projects as adorable embellishments!
