If you are new to digital scrapbooking then one of the first things to learn to start digital scrapbooking is how to open and bring a digital scrapbooking paper into Photoshop Elements so that you can start digital scrapbooking.
Follow the steps below to get started in digital scrapbooking by bring digital scrapbooking paper in to the workspace area of Photoshop Elements.
Step 1: Open a File
Open Photoshop® Elements in the Editor Mode
Go to File > Open
Or use the shortcut keys
Ctrl + O
Step 2: Navigate to the folder that has the saved the digital scrapbooking papers.
Note: If you do not have any digital scrapbooking papers saved to your computer, you can buy them at The Digital Scrapbooks and More’s Scrap Shop.
Once you have found the folder that has your digital scrapbooking paper, then double click on the folder to open it.
Step 3: Select the Digital Scrapbooking Paper.
Now you can see what papers and supplies you have purchased and saved onto your computer.
Double click on the digital paper that you would like to open and use in Photoshop Elements.
Or select it and click on the open or ok button.
Your digital scrapbooking paper will now load into Photoshop Elements.
Step 4: The digital scrapbooking paper is now open in Elements.
Your digital scrapbooking paper or supply is now open in Photoshop® Elements and ready to use!
Note: this same technique can be used to open other scrapbook supplies and digital photos too.
Once your digital scrapbooking paper is in Photoshop Elements you can create a new digital scrapbooking page, add your digital scrapbooking paper, photos, embellishments, text and then you have a completed digital scrapbooking page!
