Fourth of July Digital Scrapbooking Ideas and Must-Do’s!
The 4th of July is a great holiday to make and capture special memories!
With your digital camera in hand, make sure to snap photos of all the fun family and add them to your digital scrapbooking pages after the celebration!
Maybe you will take some pics of the “Master Chef” at the grill, or perhaps the kids wrestling or playing touch-football at the park? Or perhaps you will capture a sly little someone sneaking a peak into the picnic basket!
All of these photos are perfect for digital scrapbooking in order to keep the memories to look back at, remember, and enjoy! But choosing the digital scrapbooking layout, papers, and supplies may raise all kinds of questions. So how do you get ideas on what and how to digitally scrap the event in the first place? Follow the three 4th of July Digital Scrapbooking “Musts” below to create clever Independence Day digi pages:
4th of July Scrapbooking Musts:
One: Take your holiday photos and load them to your computer.
Two: Open a digital scrapbooking kit. In the finished digital scrapbooking page above we selected a green digital scrapbooking kit to match the park where the BBQ celebration was held. This Goals and Resolution Digital Scrapbooking Kit was a perfect choice for our page. The Goals and Resolutions Scrap Kit is jam-packed with papers, frames, tags, ribbons, and other digital supplies so that you too can create a digital masterpiece for all of your digital scrapbooking projects- try it!

This Digital Scrapbooking Kit had plenty of papers for us to have a green-park-feel to match the 4th of July picnic in the park!
Three: Add other touches to personalize your digital scrapbooking page, in this case I added a few custom brushes to “stamp” on embellishments of grills, cooks, and BBQ food!
The Brush Set we used was the “Join the Cookout” Custom Brushes, which can be used to add unique detail to stamp-on detail for the 4th of July, or any special family and friend get-together that involve being outside, having fun, and delicious grilled food!
Not quite sure how to use Custom Brushes? No problem! Check out our Photoshop Elements 7 Custom Brush Training Tutorials or our Photoshop CS3 Custom Brush Training Tutorials!
Now you have a few ideas of how to put together a digital scrapbooking page with your photos, digital scrapbooking supplies and even some custom brushes!
