Say Much More Than ‘I Love You’ This Father’s Day!
As you begin Digital Scrapbooking Projects and prepare for Father’s Day, have your gifts include old photos of Dad and you, sharing special activities that were captured on film! And don’t just stop at writing the words “I love you,” or “You’re the best”… say much more than that by also including a story or a precious memory that really expresses your feelings about your Father.
Need some help? Ask yourself these questions in order to choose a touching memory or story as you create your Digital Scrapbooking gifts this holiday:
· What is your favorite childhood memory with your parent?
· What was the best activity you had with your parent that was a complete surprise?
· What was your happiest birthday, or other holiday memory with a parent? What did your parent do to make it special?
· In what ways would you most like to be like your parent?
· What is your parents greatest virtue and why? When do you see them practicing this virtue?
· What family tradition from your parent would you like to pass to your children and why?
· What special thing did your parent do for you? Or how did they help you?
The list of ideas could go on … but really, in the end, just telling your Dad something that you remember that was really special and why will make a bigger, more meaningful impression on him! Telling them a detailed memory or story will really let them know you love them and what you really mean when you say, “You’re the best!”
Have a Happy Father’s Day writing and remembering your stories through Digital Scrapbooking!
