Digital Scrapbooking Tip: Saving Time!
Today’s Digital Scrapbooking Tip is all about saving time. As a busy, always on-the-go kind of woman, sometimes it can seem like I barely have time to breathe- let alone start a Digital Scrapbooking page or album! But scrapping my life and cherishing special things and moments (celebrations, trips, kids, pets, etc) is definitely a priority for me… so how do I make time for this wonderful hobby?
First things first, as you bring your camera along with you everywhere, snap lots of photos, but only Digitally Scrap the very best ones. Choose 1-6 of your favorite photos from a very important event (weddings, birthday, graduation, etc) and only scrap those pics. Keep the rest of the images from the event on your computer where you can have them and look at them later if you ever want to.
If your Digitally Scrapping a moment that’s not quite as much of an important celebration (just fun, anytime-pics around the house, etc) then Digitally Scrap using only 1-2 of your favorite photos.
Another idea for saving time? Combine your Digitally Scrapped pages together. For example, if you scrap one page (with 1-2 photos) of a trip to Florida, and one page of another mini-vacation with the family to Utah, combine the scrap pages and create an album all about your travels this year (instead of an entire album about Florida and another album about Utah).
Instead of creating long Digital Scrapbooking albums of every trip, event, or celebration- choose your favorite shots, scrap less pages, and save time! It will be more interesting for your family and guests to flip-through too if there’s more variety!
Note: In this Blog, I used some of my Digitally Scrapped Pages from my
trip to Paris. Although I took maybe 1000 photos of every place we visited, I only scrapped a few photos per page. Example: I picked my 4 favorite pics from Notre Dame instead of making an entire Digital Scrapbooking album out of my actual, hundreds of pics from Notre Dame! Much more interesting that way, right? Right!

Happy Scrapping,
